In Literacy, we will be learning to take notes from a PowerPoint and using them to write a report about Queen Victoria. We are going to be discussing different types of questions and creating our own questions for a partner to answer. In phonics, one group will be revising a block of sounds and the other will be focusing on ‘g’ sounding as ‘j’.
In Numeracy, we are continuing to work with arrays and using them to display multiplication questions. We will be starting to work on targeted times tables.
In Art, we are going to look at Charles Rennie Mackintosh and create some art inspired by his style. We will be learning about special buildings and places in Sikhism. We are going to continue learning about Victorian houses with a focus on home life. We will begin to look at popular foods in French.
On Tuesday morning we are going to the library to change our library books.
Open afternoon slips went home yesterday and thank you to everyone who has returned them today. We are looking forward to sharing our learning on the 13th of February.
