Next week

In Numeracy, we will be introducing multiplication. We are going to use skip counting, repeated addition and arrays. We will be focusing on the 2,5 and 10 times table. We are going using digital clocks to read quarter past and quarter to times.

In Literacy, we will be looking at a factual report. We will recap the features of report writing and begin creating our own report. Our spelling sounds for next week are (ow as in cow/ ve). Yellow jotters have gone home today with our spelling tests. We will be hunting for apostrophes in our reading books and answering written comprehension questions.

We are continuing to look at colours and shades in art. We will be playing games to help us learn colours in French. We are continuing to discuss the key beliefs of Sikhism. We are using the information we gathered from our walk around Crown this week to help us identify and draw Victorian houses. Thank you very much to the parents who helped us this week. It was very much appreciated. We are continuing to work on balances in gymnastics and building simple routines. P.E this term is on a Monday, Tuesday (alternate) and Wednesday so kits should stay in school during the week. Many thanks to those who have returned P.E kits to school.
